Active Play AS C II is a one-component polyurethane adhesive based on polymeric MDI with high functionality (>2.5). It exists in the form of green liquid. It is characterized by viscosity of 1000-4000 mPas at temp. 25°C, with the content of NCO groups between 9.0-11.0%. It is used to make elements from rubber granules, among others SBR.
Active Play AS C II is used as a base for molding SBR parts, to which coloured pigment is added.
Before application, the rubber granules should be mixed with the prepolymer and then placed in the mold. The curing reaction occurs when the press is pressed under the influence of temperature and moisture. The properties of the molded part (such as a plate) depend on the size of the rubber granules, the composition and quantity of the single-component polyurethane adhesive and in the case of the molded process, it also depends on the degree of compression during curing.
Active Play AS C II is used to make, among other things, weights and similar products made from SBR and EPDM rubber granules.
Adhesive curing process takes place at various temperatures, from 70°C to 150°C. The choice of temperature and humidity depends on the applied technology and allows, among other things to reduce the time of curing/polymerization.
Active Play AS C II does not contain harmful organic solvents.
Advantages of product application:
easy to apply adhesive for joining rubber granules,
high resistance to temperature – in production of formable elements temperatures in the range from 70°C to 150°C can be applied,
higher humidity and temperature allows shortening of the hardening process of a surface or element.
