The product is used as a high performance mixing water reducer for the production of concrete with high strength and high liquefaction. It is also fully compatible with other products of the Rofluid series.The chemical structure of Rofluid T determines its mechanism of action. Polymer chains adsorbed on the surface of cement grains create steric hindrance for adjacent grains. The resulting particles, having a specific hydrodynamic volume (different depending on the structure of the polymer), when too close together will repel each other. This hampers the agglomeration of grains, which in turn extends the time for the formation of cement hydration products and delays the setting of the concrete mix. In addition, water trapped in cement agglomerates is released, which leads to less consumption of mixing water. The addition of Rofluid T also allows for very good workability of the mix, while preventing segregation of ingredients and creating coherent concrete. Reduces the phenomenon of "bleeding" (water discharge).The addition of Rofluid T allows you to reduce water consumption by up to 35%. This translates directly into the durability of concrete, increasing its strength early (which allows faster deformation of concrete elements) and late. Concrete becomes more airtight, so its resistance to aggressive substances and frost as well as resistance to abrasion increases. It should be remembered that the amount of PCE added to the concrete mix depends, among others on the type of cement, the method of preparing the mix, the method of mixing or ambient temperature.To obtain concrete with standard strength it is recommended to use 0.4-1.0% Rofluid T in relation to the weight of the binder, while for obtaining high strength concrete and liquefaction 0.5-1.5% of the product to the weight of the binder. Rofluid T works both at low and high ambient temperatures. Because it does not inhibit cement hydration at low temperatures, it can be used at air temperatures up to -5 ° C without compromising the consistency of the concrete mix. Its dispersion and retention properties are also maintained at high temperatures and high humidity.
